Poor Mr. T, someone is at him again over at YouTube.
(It may take a moment, but that is him and not a tiny, plastic action figure.)
I don't know why I feel sorry for him, after all he was on the A Team and I was...
Hmmm, where was I?
By the way, I do feel bad for putting this under the categories "Music" and "Celebrities", but someone would complain if I didn't.
my mom & I met Mr. T at Dupars in Studio City - he was SUPER nice, shook our hands, and he has the SOFTEST hands in the whole world. just so you know. :)

That's good to know that he's nice, and that he eats at Dupar's. But that softest hands thing is kinda creepy. Isn't that what the bad guy did in Steinbeck's "Of Mice and Men"?

oooooh Tim. This is an excerpt from Mr. T's "Be Somebody or Be Somebody's Fool." My mom bought me and my bro a copy of it in a markdown bin at Target c. 1988-ish. It is a video full of vignettes on how kids can stand up to peer pressure (with New Edition) and how to be proud of their roots (with Kids Incorporated).
After I moved out, I took it with me and would have "Mr. T Parties," where we would do shots and have screenings of this precious video. A little known fact, Ice-T wrote all of the raps for Mr. T in this video. And when we booked Ice-T to do a speaking engagement at Cal State Fullerton when I was there, I brought it up to him and he wasn't amused. The best part of this whole story? I STILL HAVE THE VIDEO. Do I scare you yet? Let me know if you want to peep it out....

Em - That is, what I have to say, the best news I've gotten all Rocktober. I MUST have it! Peep away.... Heather Hamilton was intrigued with the remix and thought the dancers were not from the 80's. Can you clarify?

it is indeed an 80's extravaganza and it is VERY fun. i will bring it in for you. when i donated all my videos to the salvation army a while back i held back a few precious ones. mr T's was in that bunch!

It's worth keeping a VCR for. Thanks, Em!
